Samuel MALINGA, Managing Director
He is well resourced with knowledge on water pumps of all types and has worked in several water projects mostly in Uganda. Samuel has a community touch and has presented technical papers on various platforms.
Samuel has experience in research and development of low cost desludging pumps and transportation devices, toilet substructures and super structures for different areas depending on soil formations (high water table areas, collapsible soils, rocky areas and water logged areas).
Samuel has got sound knowledge in project planning and management, and construction skills in Water supply, sanitation, roads, and agricultural infrastructure.
Samuel has earned several awards both nationally and internationally i.e. First runner up of Civil Society WASH Innovations award 2016 in Brisbane, Australia, Winner of StartUpper of the Year 2015/16 by Total Uganda, Winner of Tony O. Elumelu Prize in Business in Lagos, Nigeria 2015, and 12 short listed for Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation 2014. He is among the 30 young enterprising entrepreneurs according to Forbes.
Samuel holds a BSc. Degree in Agricultural Engineering, and has attended many short business trainings.
Joseph KAJERERO, Chief Investment Advisor.
Joseph has a vast knowledge in Business Development and trainings for WASH projects, Marketing and Sales of water filters, water purifiers, water Guard, condoms, and sanitation products (Toilets, Briquettes) for over 10 years.
Joseph has implemented WASH Business models such as “Pay As You Fetch”, accessing toilet facilities through financial institutions, identifying entrepreneurs to manufacture toilet products and marketing, involving sanitation stakeholders such government for policy awake and implementation.
He has handled many community sanitation approaches using follow up Mandonna and CLTS. He is well versed with formulating strategic and long term investment plans. Joseph has innovative approaches of accessing entrepreneurs’ progress using “Stage Gate Tool”.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree of Makerere University and Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning at Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
Habert ATAYO, Operations Manager:
Habert holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering of Makerere University, and he is pursuing an MSc. In Technology Innovation and Industrial Development at Makerere University.
Habert is a specialist is technical trainings, and low cost product design. He has expertise in design and modelling of machine elements and structures using Solid Works, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and Bentley MicroStation.
He has hands on experience in construction of pipe water systems, installation of rope pumps, rewinding and repair of motors.
Habert heads all field operations of site inspection, construction, emptying, and trainings.
He offers advisory services to customers on the most appropriate sanitation facility, and also advises clients on pit emptying schedules.
Andrew ODENG, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist.
Andrew is a wit material and an excellent resource for all consultancy works and studies. He is also highly skilled in statistical analysis, econometric modeling, data management and reporting.
He has good customer service skills and a positive team-working attitude, motivated individual looking to apply and develop his skills, while gaining valuable and professional experience.
He has carried out consultancy work for government entities, NGOs, SMEs and CBOs in Strategic planning, baseline studies, mid-term and end line project evaluations, assessments / feasibilities studies, Business planning and change management. He holds PGD Monitoring & Evaluation, Dip Designing & Implementing M&E Systems, LL.B, BA Economics (Makerere University).
Martin Morris OKOLO, Public & Environmental Officer.
Morris is a public health specialist and development worker. Morris has spent large part of the experience in capacity building, mentoring and coaching officers in service delivery continuously carried out Monitoring and Evaluation activities with Lutheran World Federation, Action Aid International, Village Enterprise Uganda and recently an assignment with UN Mission is South Sudan. The experience and hands on assessments, capacity building and review of projects makes this assignment a continuation of the development work often carried out in the region. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and BA Social Work (Makerere University)
Marion Adupa Akumu: Administration and Procurement Officer.
Holds a Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics of Kyambogo University. Excellent customer service skills. Marion does all aspects of administrative management, directory maintenance, logistics, equipment inventory and storage.
Managing inventory of assets and supplies, sourcing for suppliers (vendors) and submitting invoices.
